Our next step is picking up where we left off after March’s Town Hall and creating this space for THE PEOPLE to tell their real stories of how very real lives are being affected by the drastic actions and changes of Elon Musk, the Trump administration, and Project 2025’s puppet masters.
Our hope is that, since our elected representatives from Washington refused to attend our town hall for ‘safety’ reasons and hear our stories there, that they will READ them from the comfort and safety of their fancy office chairs.
And maybe, just maybe, our beloved Tim Burchett can be reminded that Knoxville still remembers the county mayor who used to be ‘one of us’ and was universally respected for always working across the aisle. Can we get that Tim Burchett back? Is he redeemable?

- Jana R. March 24, 2025Being an elder I rely on Social Security. I worry, not only for others who rely on it, but their families as it really will have a ‘trickle down effect’ because many families will have to fill in the gaps for their parents and grandparents so they have food, shelter and access to medical care.

I was able ...
