This isn’t done… they’ve only voted to ‘adopt’ this as their official budget in the House. The Senate has their own budget. Now this ‘adopted’ House version goes to the Senate and they try to reach reconciliation.
In the morning we SET THEIR PHONES ON FIRE! Reducing Medicaid and SNAP to pay for tax cuts for billionaires is NOT going to fly with the American people.
We‘re calling both senators and reps and telling them NO on cutting Medicaid and SNAP! Don’t give them a moment’s peace. Taking healthcare and food away from our children and passing it to the ultra wealthy is CRUEL!

What’s in this budget?
*880 Billion cuts to Medicaid (basically all of Medicaid funding)
*230 Billion cuts to Snap (hungry people’s benefits)
*1.1 Trillion for the top 1% with a $36,320 tax credit.
*Raised taxes for everyone else by at least $1500. The example they used was $50k annual income would receive a tax hike of $1500 annually.
*The Debt ceiling raised 4 Trillion to help compensate the tax credits to the rich.
*100 Billion increase in Defense Spending.
