The Supreme Court affirmed the Oklahoma Supreme Court’s decision to block a religious public charter school this week. This is a huge victory for the separation of church and state.

Per PoliticalWire, both House and Senate Democrats are raising more money than their Republican counterparts!!

MAGA had a meltdown over the Supreme Court’s decision on the 16th which blocks Trump from illegally deporting people, but they only seem to be mad at Amy Coney Barrett. They thought they had picked the perfect christian far right candidate with her, yet she repeatedly proves to be their weak (I.e. ‘sometimes’ RATIONAL) point.

A Montana court struck down a ban on health care for trans youth, finding the law violates their state constitution – another legal instance that bodes well nationally.

Omaha’s Republican Mayor Jean Stothert lost to her Democratic challenger John Ewing. This was NOT the message Omaha’s voters were looking for. Oh! And Ewing will be Omaha’s first Black mayor!

Trump protests are popping up in red towns and districts all across the country thanks to Indivisible. It’s a lot of people choosing to take on risk for themselves, acting courageous, so that other people act courageously with them.

We are stridently pro democracy, affirmatively nonviolent, and welcoming to anyone who wants to be a part of protecting democracy – and it’s taking root in a way no ‘activist movement’ ever has before. As always, send any good news you find our way, and we will pass it along to shore up the entire community’s hope bank!
