On the afternoon of July 3rd, before going home for holiday with their families,
Republicans in Congress voted to pass a budget which is an in-your-face betrayal of the working-class voters who helped send them to Congress in the first place.

Indivisibles understood the stakes and we fought like hell until the very last vote. We were literally out fighting, hand in hand, when the vote went through today!

They themselves know how bad this bill is. That’s why multiple Republican members of Congress (including Tim Burchett) were trashing it – before voting for it.

And it’s why the final text of this bill intentionally delays some of the worst of the cuts, including cuts to Medicaid, until after the 2026 midterms.

They hope that by the time 2026 rolls around, their constituents will forget about their betrayal.

It’s up to all of us to make sure they don’t.

I know it’s easy right now to feel numb and defeated, but we are going to need one another and this community now more than ever.

We are strategizing and building plans and frameworks to make them pay, slowly peel away their support systems, and start shifting even more of our time and resources to protecting vulnerable communities from this horrible bill’s onslaught – but we can only do that if WE STICK TOGETHER… through the good AND the bad.

We’re family now. Get ready to fight like our lives depend on it – because for many, it will.

Help us keep up the fight. Any amount helps.
