Everyone keeps asking, “What can I do??” Things you can do RIGHT NOW!

The incidents we’re witnessing in this moment are not isolated. They are connected by a bloated expansion of ‘secret police’ that is placing all our neighbors at risk and eroding public safety and trust – while those in power are now openly admitting the ‘boots on domestic ground’ is a show of force to take even further steps to erode our elections.

We are NOT going to sit idly by and meekly allow them to shake down our democracy and erode our peace of mind & public safety. Even in our red state, we have decisive actions we can take – with even more in the planning stages.

The constitution is not a suggestion. Dignity should not be debated, but defended. Solidarity is not charity, it is a promise.

We have to channel everything we are feeling right now into real, concrete action.

So what can YOU do this week? Today?

Join Indivisible’s Mass Call On Monday

Enough is enough. Exercising our Constitutional right to document and record ICE and other federal agents is more important than ever.

This call will give you the tools to exercise your rights in a moment when federal agents are terrorizing our communities and using excessive force.

Join our call, Eyes on Ice: Document and Record on Monday, January 26th, 2026, at 8:00 pm ET.

We will talk through rights when documenting and recording law enforcement encounters, and how you can continue to take action.

RSVP NOW.

Students and parents! Join this ICE OUT! Walkout and March (organized by Knox County School students) on Friday at 9:30am – starting at the Worlds Fair Park:

No more money for death.

Call or email both of our senators and DEMAND that ICE obviously does not need more funding and to vote NO on the appropriations bill as it is currently written. This issue is not partisan. Due process is sacrosanct. Our communities and people’s lives are not bargaining tools.

Congress must stop shoving billions to this administration’s secret police.

DEMAND CORPORATIONS STAND WITH US AND STAND UP TO ICE

Join organizers in Minnesota and national partners to pressure corporations including Target, Hilton, Enterprise, Home Depot, and Delta to show up for our communities and stand up to ICE.

Target and Delta are two of the biggest corporate citizens of Minnesota, but have said nothing as ICE has surged in the state and killed two citizens. ICE is using Hilton and Enterprise accommodations and rental vehicles to operate. And Home Depot has stood by while ICE conducts violent raids on their property. Whether they’re actively cooperating or remaining silent, each of these corporations are standing by while ICE terrorizes the communities where they operate.

Call or email each corporation to demand they take action to get ICE out of our communities NOW.

One last note:

The pendulum of justice only swings back when people like us come together. United resistance is the LIGHT that will get us through these dark days.

But never forget that we are ALL volunteers here. We have to be willing to show up, lift up, give grace, and be a little bit janky. 😍

We are learning and growing stronger TOGETHER as we go.
