No trial.\n \n\nThen, Trump’s agents illegally deported him to El Salvador, where he’s now locked inside one of the world’s most brutal maximum-security facilities.\n \n\nThe Supreme Court ruled unanimously — 9 to 0 — that the Trump administration must return Kilmar to the U.S.\n \n\nAnd now? Trump is defying the highest court of the land. Spitting on the constitution. And daring the rest of us to stop him. (Well take that dare!)\nThis isn’t just a tragedy, it’s a five-alarm constitutional crisis. If Trump can rip families apart, break the law, and ignore the Supreme Court without consequences, then the rule of law is dead — and none of us are safe.\n \n\nKilmar’s case is horrifying, but not isolated. The numbers of contributing, legal members of our society who are being cruelly and unjustly removed from our country keep climbing.\n \n\nAnd now, Trump is saying the quiet part out loud. Yesterday morning, live on camera, he said he wanted to send “homegrowns” — U.S. citizens — to foreign prisons.\n \n\nIf Congress lets this slide — if they don’t step in immediately to do all they can to bring Kilmar home and hold Trump accountable — then we could be entering a new era of unchecked, authoritarian power.\n \n\nDuring this congressional recess, we’re taking this directly to our elected officials. This is not LEFT OR RIGHT, this is OUR CONSTITUTION at risk of crumbling under their abuses.\n \n\nIt became obvious in Tim Burchett’s recent telephone town hall that they were so in shock over our turnout at the April 5th Hands Off! event that they only way they could justify what they saw was to call us ‘paid protestors’ and ‘radical leftists’ that are a problem to be solved.\n \n\nTim is convinced that he is on the right side and that most East Tennesseans agree with him.\n \n\nSo we’re going in with slightly different messaging than the usual next Friday to prove him wrong, so get your markers and poster boards ready!
